During the COVID-19 pandemic with rising under and unemployment rates, the Virginia Cooperative Extension Family Nutrition Program assessed food security status of SNAP-eligible individuals in Virginia. Dr. Sarah Misyak, the Assistant Director and Program Manager for Research and Evaluation for the Family Nutrition Program will present the results of this food security assessment and implications for the state of Virginia.
