September 25, 2025 9:00 - 10:00 am ET

In Europe, Living Labs are seen as an important part of supporting a transition toward agroecology and ultimately a transformation toward more sustainable food systems. This approach to co-creation has been adopted and is being applied in agricultural and food system contexts in a variety of large European research projects we work on including the Agroecology Partnership and Horizon Europe projects, including the Soil Mission. In this session, speakers will reflect on what we have learned from our experiences and studies of living labs. We will explore not only the exciting transformative potential of the approach but also lessons and limits to living labs within agroecological food systems.
