Frank Adusei

Frank Yeboah Adusei is a Ph.D. Candidate in Agricultural, Leadership, and Community Education at Virginia Tech and a Graduate Fellow at the Center for Food Systems and Community Transformation. With over a decade of experience in agricultural development, food security, and extension services in Ghana’s Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Frank brings a unique blend of practice and scholarship to his work. His research explores the intersections of food justice, sustainability, and community resilience. Frank has authored several peer-reviewed publications addressing food insecurity, climate change, agroecological practices, and systems thinking in agriculture. At Virginia Tech, Frank supports community-engaged scholarships and interdisciplinary research on sustainable food systems. His GRA role includes contributing to the National Urban Agriculture Project. Driven by a passion for equity and collaboration, Frank’s life work centers on transforming food systems into more just, inclusive, and resilient for marginalized and agricultural-dependent communities.
